The ground floor apartment has a large covered terrace, complete with hammock, which overlooks a magnificent vista of white sand beach and foam capped waves. It is charmingly decorated and its two bedrooms, each with bathroom en suite, large living room and spacious kitchen, provide a comfortable vacation home.
Whilst the downstairs unit of house Sunset can be considered to be a very efficient mix of being situated in a wonderful location, ocean front, spacious, perfectly equipped, simply said a home away from home in sunny Barbados, Sunset's upstairs apartment will make you use superlatives when trying to describe this incredibly spectacular setting.
The upstairs 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit earned comments like "best views on the island", "from sunrise to sunset", "270 degrees", but no matter how far one gets carried away by the spectacular views to the east, south and west, Sunset's terrace which wraps around the living and bedroom area, is most probably one of the best outlooks anywhere along Barbados' shores. Overlooking Silver Sands Beach to the East, one can see as far as to the outside reef of Long Beach. The ever-changing picture of the waters around Ananias point is just amazing. This is where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Caribbean Sea and where the water can be calm like a pond and in no time change to a dramatic picture of powerful waves hammering the rocky point on which Sunset is located. The view to the west is framed by Coral House Beach, amongst windsurfers, known as "The Beach of Shame" and goes as far as the reefs of Bo Bells. Hang out in the wide body hammock on Sunset's upstairs terrace, sip on your Pina Colada while listening to the sounds of the sea and get carried away by this spectacular scenery...
The cleaning service which comes automatically with House Sunset is a brief cleaning and changing of towels (and sheets on request) every three days. Additional cleaning service can be arranged for a fee of $ US 20 p. cleaning. A maid / cook service can be provided on request at an extra charge of $ US 40.
