The Atlantic Shores Apartments

The Atlantic Shores Apartments are located in the preferred residential area of Atlantic Shores, about a couple of hundred meters from the sea. They are a very nice option for the budget traveler who wants to stay in a nice and clean environment, but can’t afford to spend the money for a more luxurious ocean front accommodation.

The area of Atlantic Shores is about 3 - 4 minutes by car from Oistins, 2-3 minutes to Miami Beach, 10 minutes from St. Lawrence Gap and it’s about a 10 minutes walk from the apartments to the beautiful white sand beach of Silver Sands.

 The apartments are in a normal apartment house (not especially meant to be a tourist rental facility)  in which most units are rented long term to local residents. Depending on availability, one or two apartments are kept for short term tourist rentals. The apartments might be on any floor, can have one bedroom or two, all depending on availability. The units are well maintained, have fully equipped kitchens, come with sheets and towels, no beach towels though. Please bring your own.

These apartments aren’t the right choice for the tourist who wants to sit on his ocean front porch and watch the sunset sipping on pina colada, but they can be can be the perfect choice for the traveler who can’t afford to spend much money, wants a clean, well kept and organized and safe place to sleep and who spends most of his time out and exploring anyway. Just to mention, having a kitchen and being able to do his/her own cooking definitely makes a trip to Barbados more affordable.

The rates vary from $ US 60 p. night to $ US 100, depending on the season, the size of the apartment and the no. of persons in a party.
